Writing a great college admissions letter starts with asking the right people for a letter of recommendation. The college admissions letter of recommendation is one of those uncontrollable factors in the college admissions process because you cannot control the message. However there are a few things you can do for a positive message for your admisson to college application.

Start by asking someone that likes and respects you. This may be a teacher or a boss. Your college admissions application is enhanced by someone that knows you and can use specific examples of how you will succeed in college. Help the person you are asking for a college admissions letter by giving them a college admissions resume. List your accomplishments. Sure, they may know them, but having them on one list helps them organize their thoughts and ultimately helps your college admissions application.
